The goal of this project was to create a modern mascot that strengthens Hapoel Tel Aviv’s visual identity by combining the club’s historic hammer-and-sickle emblem with its well-known “Red Devils” nickname.
The process included research into the club’s heritage and symbolism, along with inspiration from how leading football clubs, such as Manchester United, use a devil figure as part of their brand.
As a lifelong Hapoel Tel Aviv fan, I brought a deep understanding of the club’s culture and fanbase into the design process, allowing the mascot to feel authentic and naturally connected to the team.
The final design was chosen for its simplicity, clarity, and ability to integrate seamlessly into a broader graphic language, from digital use to merchandise.
Today, the mascot is sold through Hapoel Tel Aviv’s official store and forms part of the club’s updated visual identity.
